  • To acquire, organize, maintain and disseminate rice and related literature and make these available to researchers;  
  • To strengthen networking with other libraries and information centers to the benefit of researchers in the access of information;
  • To provide information access through the use of print, non print and electronic and digital means to better serve the needs of rice researchers.
